At the 13th Meeting of the Society of Urological Imaging Diagnosis and Treatment Techniques, held in Kyoto on August 7–8, 2026, Dr. Shigeo Ichihashi gave a lecture on prostatic artery embolization (PAE), a treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia.

The lecture drew many questions from radiologists and urologists, reflecting the strong interest in PAE as a minimally invasive treatment.
