Endovascular Treatment Specialist, Interventional Radiologist (IVR)
Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in 2003 and joined the Department of Radiology at the same university in the same year. He honed his expertise in diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology (IVR) at Saiseikai Shiga Hospital and Kurashiki Central Hospital. In 2009, he joined the Department of Radiology at Nara Medical University. From 2013, he spent two years abroad, studying vascular surgery at Albany Medical Center in New York, USA, and applied medical engineering at RWTH Aachen University in Germany, where he deepened his knowledge of the latest endovascular treatments. In 2022, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Radiology and IVR at Nara Medical University, and in 2024, he became an associate professor in the same department. He has been invited to give numerous lectures at national and international conferences. Since 2018, he has served as the chairman of the live surgery symposium NEXT (Nara Endovascular eXperience and Technology), dedicated to advancing the dissemination and evidence-building of the latest endovascular treatments.

Vascular Surgeon
Graduated from Keio University School of Medicine in 2003 and joined the Department of Surgery at Keio University School of Medicine in the same year. In 2012, he trained in the Division of Vascular Surgery at Stanford University in the United States, followed by further studies at the University of Strasbourg in France in 2015. He returned to Japan in the same year and worked in the Department of Vascular Surgery at Saiseikai Central Hospital in Tokyo. In 2024, he rejoined the Department of Surgery at Keio University. Having spent his childhood in the United States, he is fluent in multiple languages. He has delivered numerous invited lectures at both national and international conferences. He has led many multi-center collaborative studies on aortic and peripheral artery diseases, contributing to the establishment of evidence-based vascular treatment and standardization of vascular care.
